Session 1: Watershed Discipleship
Senegalese environmentalist Baba Dioum stated that “we won’t save places we don’t love; we can’t love places we don’t know; and we don’t know places we haven’t learned.” This session introduces “watershed discipleship,” a term coined by theologian Ched Myers which refers to the practice of learning about, knowing, and loving the water flowing through our communities and the ecosystems that surround it.
