Catholic Relief Services

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States. CRS carries out the commitment of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to assist the poor and vulnerable overseas. We are motivated by the Gospel of Jesus Christ to cherish, preserve and uphold the sacredness and dignity of all human life, foster charity and justice, and embody Catholic social and moral teaching. Catholic Relief Services responds to major emergencies, fights disease and poverty, nurtures peace and just societies, and serves Catholics in the United States as they live their faith in solidarity with their brothers and sisters around the world. We provide members of the JustFaith network opportunities for missionary discipleship that engages them in the two feet of action, and that respond to the call to be People of Hope that responds in a concrete way to the invitation of the Holy Father to be part of a vibrant church that embodies solidarity.
