Session 1: Session 1: (1 hour): This session introduces the theme of lament, grappling with the world as it is and recognizing that, even in its brokenness, it is worthy of care.
Session 2: Session 2: (1 hour): This session continues with the theme of lament, and takes participants to Jerusalem during Jesus’ time and today.
Session 3: Session 3: (1 hour) – This session reminds us of our interconnection. The parable of the fig tree reminds us of God’s mercy and gives us guidance on repentance.
Session 4: Session 4: (1 hour) – The parable of the prodigal son expands the exploration of repentance.
Session 5: Session 5: (1 hour) – This session introduces the theme of forgiveness.
Session 6: Session 6: (1 hour) – This session expands on the theme of forgiveness through the passion story of Jesus.
Session 7: He Is Risen! We Are Rising! (optional, 1-3 hours) – Participants discern how they can live out the invitation to be resurrection keepers.
