We live in a society that has forgotten its sacred connection to the Earth. As the climate crisis advances we must actively discern our responsibility not only to this planet, but to the marginalized communities disproportionately affected by it. I was so inspired to see JustFaith Ministries tackle this timely subject in Sacred Land: Food and Farming. The program challenges not only your personal accountability, but explores ways you can advocate for sustainable practices that impact the community around you.
EngagingSpirituality is an excellent program and just what I needed. The connection of contemplation and justice is powerful indeed. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to strengthen their prayer life, and their ability to create positive change in the world.
EngagingSpirituality was weeks of amazing gifts. I have an ever-deepening awareness of God’s presence in myself as well as in the vulnerable ones around me. Each session was an invitation to explore ancient ways of connecting more fully with my Creator through prayer and in service. I have become more peaceful, mellow, and present with others. I’m blessed by how and where the Spirit has led me.
