As always being one of those “behind the scenes” people, I have realized that I must do more to care for God’s creation! This program helped me to understand and focus those efforts. The recurring thought that I had throughout my participation in Faith and Poverty: A Global Response was 'I can do better.' The program allowed me to make connections between my thoughts, beliefs and actions and the lives of others around the world. I was reminded again and again how interconnected we all are. I cannot fix global poverty, but with the knowledge and passion I learned in this program, I can certainly be part of the solution instead of part of the problem.

Everyone shared how much EngagingSpirituality has touched their lives. We all agreed that we can't stop here - that this is not just another program or retreat that we attended. We want to keep open our prayer space and grow in our relationship with God and we also want to be disturbed, to live a gospel life.
