Acting for Justice Webinar: February 22Building the World House: Toward Communities of Peace and Justice Today
How can we build sustainable spaces of justice and peace when the world seems so divided and broken? Dr. Johnny Bernard Hill, Senior Pastor of the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in North Carolina and Director of Corporate and Foundation Engagement at North Carolina Central University, will share insights on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s creative vision of the “world house” and offer up ways that we might build communities of peace and justice in a troubled world. For peacemakers, church leaders, freedom fighters and people of good will, this presentation will offer a fresh and relevant perspective on King’s vision of the world house and how we might apply it for today’s context in local communities. Join us on Thurs., Feb. 22, 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT for what will be an inspiring webinar presentation!
