College JusticeWalking: Testimonies

Brian Neely, campus minister and JW Coordinator
As the Director of Campus Ministry, I found myself in awe of the conversations which took place within the weekly meetings.  Each of us were struggling with issues and questions that were either new to us, or else inviting us to examine an issue from a different perspective.   In the end we can honestly say that we worked, prayed, cried, laughed, dialogued, studied, and journeyed together in a way that brought about personal changes in us that will in turn bring about positive change in our world.

College Justice Walking has changed me in a way that can never be undone.  There is no way I could have been prepared for what I would see and learn in the program.  There really is no way I can adequately explain the experience to someone who is not familiar with what Just Faith [Ministries] offers.

Patrick Rodgers, College J-Walker
College JusticeWalking is breaking down fear through Christ.

Sean Bray, campus minister and CJW coordinator
Our group enjoyed not just talking about issues, but embodying practices—moving from head to hands and heart.

Colleen McGuillicudy, College J-Walker
I already knew the catechism. After going through JusticeWalking, now I know how to live it.

Patrick Murphy, College J-Walker
College JusticeWalking creates a flame in people’s hearts around injustice. It made the flame in my heart a little bigger.

Definition of justice

I don’t believe in death without resurrection. They can kill me, but they cannot kill the voice of justice. If they kill me, I will rise again in the Salvadoran people.
