We recommend that parishes, clusters of parishes, dioceses or schools schedule an introductory workshop before offering the JusticeWalking program.The JusticeWalking workshop, “J-Walking the Gospel,” offers youth ministers, catechists and teachers an introduction into prophetic ministry with young people, and an immersion into the spirituality of Gospel-living.Using stories, symbols, music, prayers, and process components, Joe Grant, the creator of J-Walking, outlines the background, components, and unique elements of this approach to prophetic ministry with older teenagers.This four-hour presentation is offered in a prayerful “retreat” atmosphere that implements many of the components of JusticeWalking. This event can be scheduled for weekdays, weekday evenings and weekends.There is no fee for the “J-Walking the Gospel” workshop; however sponsors are expected to cover any travel and housing expenses.
